About the Speaker

Jonas Søberg Erlandsen is one of the course teachers and a seasoned maritime professional with over 15 years of experience spanning shipping, logistics, anti-corruption, and strategic leadership. Currently serving in Business Development & Sales at Bawat and as a Board Member at Scanlog Shipping, Jonas brings a deep commitment to sustainability, governance, and innovation in the maritime sector.

He previously led a major anti-corruption initiative across South Asia with the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), where he orchestrated large-scale collective action efforts involving governments, industry stakeholders, and international partners. His leadership resulted in measurable policy changes and operational improvements across India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

Jonas has held diverse roles across the globe—from managing marine projects in East Africa to captaining a charter vessel through international waters. His career includes senior positions at JGH Group, OBT Shipping, and service as a Sergeant in the Danish Armed Forces, where he developed strong leadership and operational skills.

He holds an Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics (The Blue MBA) from Copenhagen Business School.
